Allow your children some free time to do nothing, absolutely nothing but to notice, ponder, reflect, think, dream and connect to Allah.Avoid over-scheduling your children’s day with too many (extra) activities which rob them of the privilege of wondering.
Let them ask ‘why’? and encourage them to explain the ‘why’
.إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. (Ali-Imraan:190)
